Fernando Guisado Ruiz

Born in flamenco cradle – gypsy district of Seville, Triana, he has been learning flamenco singing since early childhood – first from his mother Dolores, and next from flamenco artists, spending his time in flamenco taverns and tablaos. At the age of 20 he moved to New York – the most important flamenco city in USA, and cooperated with representatives of local enviroment, taking part in concert tours in theatres and universities of United States and Canada. He is a fan of cante jondo – deep song, and his role models are Camaron de la Isla and Manolo Caracol. Fernando’s singing is an authentic andalusian temperament and emotions.
